The Museum of NW Art in La Conner Washington has just curated a Georgia Gerber bronze sculpture into their permanent collection. Georgia Gerber is one of the leading Public Sculptors working today. She has the first woman owned and operated foundry in America.
The City of Cannon Beach Oregon features large Tufted Puffins
by Georgia Gerber as part of their permanent Public Art Collection. The large bronze “Tufted Puffins” were created for the small coastal town of Cannon Beach, Oregon just 75 miles West of Portland Oregon.

Gerber defines many of our favorite NW Public gathering places with her distinctive & artistic style. Smooth lines and capturing the essence of typically an animal sculpture in bronze. Even when the works are whimsical they are always reverential.
Georgia Gerber’s Public Sculptures include the iconic “Rachel”;
the pig at the Pike Place Market & twenty six sculptures and fountains in downtown Portland’s Pioneer Courthouse Square.
The Museum of NW Art in La Conner also has Steve Jensen’s
large totems in their permanent collection . His sculpture “Fisherman’s Dance” is also on permanent display in Cannon Beach. Jensen is also represented by Northwest By Northwest Gallery. An advocate for the arts, gallery owner Joyce Lincoln states that Public Art is a perfect photo op often recording each visit with a keepsake photo. It also set off beautiful landscape often with visitors walking form one sculpture site to the other.
