Oregon metal artist Donnie Wanner has created a new wall sculpture titled ‘Arch Rock’, featuring the popular landmark from the southern Oregon coast located between Brookings and Gold Beach. According to Wanner, Arch Rock is the largest arch formation on the Pacific Coast. “You can’t see it from the roadway,” said Wanner. “The best view is actually from private property.” The sculpture depicts the arch, made from cast bronze, standing in a sea of blue surrounded by trees and sea grasses with waves crashing over rock formations. Wanner is a master metal worker and has patinaed the steel and stainless to be realistic and vibrant. While he has done several seascapes whose editions have sold out, “This is my best ocean scene yet,” he claimed. ‘Arch Rock’ is a limited edition of 100 and measures 24” high by 54” wide.
