The Cannon Beach Art Association will be hosting a special event with Bonnie Laing-Malcolmson, the Arlene and Harold Schnitzer Curator of Northwest Art at the Portland Art Museum on Sunday, February 8 as a part of the opening weekend of the Winter All Juried Show at the Cannon Beach Gallery. There will be a ticketed luncheon at the Cannon Beach Café with Laing Malcolmson from 12 -1:30 pm featuring a catered menu and a presentation by the curator about her work at the Portland Art Museum.
Laing-Malcolmson will discuss the Arlene and Harold Schnitzer Center for Northwest Art as well as the regional exhibitions that she puts together, including the Biennial Contemporary Arts Awards, the Apex Exhibition Series and the installation of the 9,500 square foot Northwest Permanent Collection Gallery Space.

The Winter All Juried will run from February 4 – March 1, 2015 with an Artist’s Reception on Saturday, February 7 from 5-7 pm. The Cannon Beach Gallery is open Wednesday – Sunday from 10 am – 4 pm.
The Cannon Beach Arts Association received funds from Cannon Beach’s Tourism and Arts Commission for its Juried Show Program in 2015.
