The Cannon Beach Gallery announces Landscape x3 featuring a trio of landscape artists: Bets Cole, Phyllis Trowbridge, and Michael Lorenzini. The show runs June 2 – 24 with an Artists’ Reception on June 23 from 6 -8 PM to coincide with Cannon Beach’s Plein Air and More Festival.
Bets Cole has shown nationwide for 25 years. Her paintings are energetic, colorful, and usually executed in the plein air tradition. Bets received awards at Plein Air Invitational events in the Columbia Gorge and Zion National Park.
Phyllis Trowbridge is an Oregon painter whose work has exhibited at the Portland Art Museum and the Schneider Museum in Ashland.
Michael Lorenzini developed his love of painting via surfing. As a plein air painter, Lorenzini seeks to capture the mystical, wild nature of the ocean and its coastal surroundings in his art.
All three will demonstrate their craft at the Plein Air and More Festival.
