Public waterfront walkway will connect  Ruston Walkway with Point Defiance. Public Art, where memories and photo ops are made.

These are some photos from Saturday’s installation of Hip Hop at the Point Ruston Development in Tacoma, next to Point Defiance Park. Some shops, restaurants, and Condos are already in use, and the Grand Opening is November 17. It includes a public waterfront Walkway that connects the already existing Ruston Walkway with point Defiance. One of the most beautiful sites on the Sound.

The planter that the sculpture is in will have two more courses of bricks to raise it, then soil will be mounded up to Rabbit’s feet and planted, including carrots.

Point Ruston, a waterfront resort-inspired village with panoramic views of the South Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains and Mount Rainier, will be a place to experience the best in Pacific NW living, dining, shopping, recreation, and entertainment. – See more at: http://www.pointruston.com/builder-story/#sthash.tdlYJiXl.dpuf
