Seven Blades at Sunset When I haven’t painted in a while and there’s nothing ‘easy’ to pick up where I left off, I will often grab a piece of paper and just start painting with little or no planning (I tend to get mired in the planning). These wallflowers at the edge of Tillamook Bay with Garibaldi’s Fishing Dock in the background caught my eye in 2002. I’ve been determined to paint it ever since and have stopped back by many times to check and see if there was something better than what I had planned.
