Cannon Beach Gallery in Midtown hosts Five Artists – a showcase representing the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology on Cascade Head near Neskowin. Bronze Coast Gallery announces the arrival of several new works by two relative newcomers to the gallery, Mark Gatewood and Melissa Cooper. Cooper sculpts wildlife with a focus on birds. ‘Aspen and Blues 2’ is a bronze vessel with four blue birds clinging to aspen branches encircling the vase.
