35th Annual Stormy Weather Arts Festival November 4-6 2022

For 35 years, the Stormy Weather Arts Festival on the first weekend in November has been one of Cannon Beach’s most popular events . You can immerse yourself in the creative culture that has long been a part of this community recognized as one of the 100 best art towns in America. The weekend offers musical performances and gallery events with the opportunity to meet renowned artists, see their latest works or watch them demonstrate their techniques.

Enjoy a variety of gallery receptions, artist demonstrations, and paint classes, and catch free live musical performances with regional musicians at outdoor venues throughout the town. Cannon Beach is home to more than a dozen art galleries. Many of their most successful national and regional artists and prominent local artists will be showcased during the festival.

Here is a gallery by gallery rundown of featured artists and events:

Bronze Coast Gallery

This year Bronze Coast Gallery is honored to be hosting five of our remarkably talented artists, which include:

Dan Chen, from Eugene, Oregon, has drawn on his experiences with the eastern and western disciplines of art to create sculptures that are both pleasing and dramatic.

David Crawford

David Crawford, from Halfway, Oregon, takes inspiration from people and things both in and outside of the ‘fine arts’ disciplines while drawing on his rural upbringing to create stunning sculptures.

Jim Eppler, from Lubbock, Texas, known for his incredible life-size sculpted ravens, in addition to many others of the wild animal residents of Texas.

Robert Rogers, also from Lubbock, a master jeweler who infuses enormous respect for the mysticism and traditions of the Southwest in his bronze and silver creations.

Hans Schiebold, from Tigard, Oregon, who has perfected his work over more than sixty years as an artist. His richly textured mixed-media paintings have been collected all over the country.
