The Bronze Coast Gallery is proud to be showcasing the exciting new work of J. Scott Peck. Although continuously experimenting with new techniques and tools to use for new images, Scott revisited his crystal and water submersion techniques and gave it a more refreshed and refined look. While still reflecting a classic technique used by Scott, his new pieces continue to uphold his standard of unique and alluring beauty.
“Mrs. S. Dragon” (shown above), is a wonderful example of the revisited water submersion technique. The ethereal lighting Scott has captured makes the flower appear to glow. In contrast to the technique of the snap dragon, “Yellow Lizzie” (shown left) is the revisited crystals technique in which the crystals are now the foreground instead of the background—adding mystery and intrigue to the piece.
Both pieces are a part of a wonderful new collection that the gallery is showcasing. www.bronzecoastgallery.com
